Our goal is to strengthen Greater Victoria’s cultural vibrancy and economic resiliency to meet the challenges of the 21st century with clarity, confidence and a compelling story that strengthens local pride and global competitiveness.

Spearheaded by South Island Prosperity Partnership with the support of Global Affairs Canada, VIATEC and the DVBA, Victoria Rising launched in spring 2024 following many months of consultation with more than 400 people, including policymakers, entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, educators and artists, and 12 sector groups.
