Huge congratulations to the Victoria team that represented all of North America at the Global Ocean Hackathon in France and finished second in the world!
Their project, “Surface Current Drivers in the Strait of Georgia,” began at the Ocean Hackathon hosted by the SIPP-initiative COAST, and it has been exciting to watch this team grow from an early idea into a standout force on the global stage!
Thank you to Ocean Networks Canada, Canada’s Ocean Supercluster and Syniad Innovations for supporting the Ocean Hackathon!
